In ancient Rome, signet rings with carved garnet were used to stamp impressions into wax seals securing documents. Garnets date back as far as 3500BC where red garnet necklaces adorned the necks of Egypts pharaohs, and were entombed with their mummified bodies for the afterlife. We bring you a striking 2.5ct created garnet, accented by 8 created diamonds all hand set in gold finished sterling silver. A really impressive ring.
