On recent buying trips we found a parcel of Leopard Jasper, so called because its pattern that appears on the surface of the gemstone. Throughout Ancient Greek, Egyptian and Roman cultures, Jasper has been used in art and ornamental designs. It is also mentioned in the Bible in Ezekiel, Exodus and Revelations. With this historical assortment it is not surprising that so many healing properties and good luck legends are linked to this interesting gemstone.
